If your connected to the BIG TECH platforms your almost being programmed to be addicted to their devices and also every that is thrown at you is before hand calculated that is something you like thats how sophisticated these programs are. This is something new entirely on society because 10 years ago we didnt have this and merely 5 years ago we saw symtpons on this now its gone full speed ahead.
I began with my suspecion many years ago but it was untill JRE had a few episodes with some profiles from silicon valley or related to SV that brought this up and how it was similiar to clockwork orange then that was the call for me so i started to reduce my attention online and cut down.
But now this has become the norm because other countries and business are investing into this barbaric practise venture capitalists invest in IT Startups that can make you famous and hooked the fastest thats their business module and its just brain drain for everyone. The term Attentionalism is still a new term coined by Kevin Kelly but im still bit skeptic that we are going to live the rest of our lives starring at our screens while others are living life and we just look at them as if its a television.
Doing a Digital Detox is a thread to these companies because thats what they live on people being online and doing nothing what so ever and just click like and argue online if that would stop then these cut throat business practise would get dryed out and slowly decline and you would benefit and spend your time on learning new stuff.
Now i still have too learn more about this and going deeper study on whats pragmatic and practical solutions now of course these platforms are for free and all but at the same time they are designed to be super addictive and they need their platforms to stay alive because it has such a huge social capital. But the cost of it all is not worth it for my end so and after being free from this and no longer feeling like the guy in the image below i can honestly say it was so refreshing.
