This has been a real challenge too get rid out off since its very comfortable and addictive to get out over and do something else since it the only hide out for someone that avoids doing real constructive things outside the PC but now video games has envolved too become something else which are very different from how games were 10-15 years ago even when they were just fun challenges and puzzles to solve into this online simulation that is designed too be addictive and not doing anything useful.
A lot of young men spend most of their time online is solely dedicated towards video games and primarily shooting singleplayer games which has no quality learning at all its not like you play a game where you learn a new language or play with a bigger group as you learn how too teamwork and cordinate in a team.
Uninstalling your games on steam has a really high quality effect on your Digital Health where you can re-capture your online presense and forge a '' Free Will '' onto more productive stuff but its not a easy task as stated above that these devices are addictive so the best way too cut down would be play less and less and less then start uninstalling the least favoritable game and start from there there after go outside or do something else while your online but some games can be useful too play if you learn some good stuff where it could be economics or science stuff.
Tapper down on your gaming has good long term rewards where you finally have the ability too conquer your online presence and turn into too productive learning addiction too improve your personal life. For me it was very hard at first but quiting games and replacing them into watching infotainment videos on youtube has greatly improve my life. First at start i would just play less and less then after i would just focus on my time going outside for 30 minutes walks then when i got home i would not turn on any game and just browse through youtube.
Since about 3 years ago i stopped gaming just around the time pandemic started then after i went on to ignore what new games were released and not log on to any gaming platforms. It feelt wierd at first but the feeling of becoming free from this was just surreal which is something im going to write more about my experience breaking away from this addictive device and changing my personality into a more digital independant person.
Good luck too you my friend
